Elisabeth ROSKA studied Plastic Art for fifteen years in the studio of the Marseilles painter Gaston Lamorte. Teaching rich and diverse, from academic to abstraction by employing all the pictorial techniques.

After many experiments and personal research in watercolor, oil (knife abstraction) and impressionistic landscapist painting, Elisabeth ROSKA is currently working on figurative oil painting, portraits and characters.

It is after the loss of loved ones that Elisabeth ROSKA turned to the portrait by wanting to immortalize the memory and the emotion of the last moments shared. Faces, reflecting the atmosphere and the furtive passage of existence in this ephemeral world.

Very inspired by Soutine, Francis Bacon, Modigliani, Van Dongen, Van Gogh, Elisabeth ROSKA tends towards a freer and unbridled, sensitive, emotional art that engages him in a new way.

Twist and accentuate the traces of existence so that the form submits to the emotion.
